The newest screen product in our range is the perfect solution for a hidden installation of the screen box, where it is entirely built within the cavity wall. Furthermore, the screen can also be surface mounted with the side channels mounted in front.
The built-in screen is accommodated with a retractable bottom bar and optionally with a brush that closes of the box. This ensures that the screen remains clean and is truly maintenance friendly. Since there are no gaps between the side channels and bottom rail, the built-in screen is insect-proof. With innovative components a smooth and simple montage is ensured. Also, there is an easy access from the outside for review or service.
The built-in screen is perfected with an exceptional screen technology. Herewith the screen is tensely fixed to the window, both on top, below and on the side channels.

With a motorized control the screens are easy to use and to operate. The special motor functions silently and is absolutely maintenance free. In general, the Building Plastics screens are energy-ef?cient.The characteristics of the fabric and an automated control of the screen, will ensure a comfortable indoor climate, even when you’re not at home. On heated days this means no extra cooling, in the colder months you get to enjoy the extra warmth of the sun rays piercing inside. Both cases contribute to a better rate in terms of energy performance.
Building Plastics guarantees a wind-tight screen up to 130km/h in closed position, this was tested at a KS Schulten wind tunnel with a screen dimension of 3000 x 3000mm, with a Soltis Stam screen fabric. This fabric is entirely wind- and waterproof which makes the result of the wind tunnel test even more impressive.
The built-in screen consists of a screen box of 110 x 1500mm (w x h) measurements. The box is designed with a 90° rounding. The aluminum box and side channels are available in all RAL-colours.
There is a standard electrical control with motor Selve or Somfy. A variety of fabrics are offered: Sergé, Soltis, Blackout.
The maximum width of the screen is 4.500mm, maximum height is 3.000mm. With the built-in screen we can manage a maximum surface of 12m².
