Our scratch-proof and color-fast porcelain door knobs in white or black porcelain are produced in Limoges, a town in the former French province of Limousin known for centuries in Europe firstly for its enamel and then later for its porcelain manufacture and decoration. For these knobs, porcelain is bisque-fired in a metal mold at 1400° Celsius (2552°F). Nickel-plated brass blank brass parts are turned from one piece and then cut.
