The intense deep brown color of DumoWood is created during a very environmentally friendly processing process. Thermal modification transforms the rough, untreated planks into extremely strong, insulating facade cladding. The heat of steam changes the wood cell structure, making the planks less susceptible to mold and giving them a longer lifespan. In short: a sustainable and affordable end product that fits seamlessly with the climate in the Netherlands.
