3form Launches New Full Circle Patterns
The new products are inspired by the long standing connection the company’s Full Circle
program builds across the globe.
(Salt Lake City, UT) January 2019 - Award-winning materials manufacturer 3form is excited to launch a new, modernized extension of their famous Full Circle collection. From elementary education in Nepal to midwife training in Mali, 3form’s Full Circle program pursues social, environmental and economic initiatives that impact artisan communities across the globe.
“3form has long standing relationships with these artisans and plays an important part in their economy,” explained Christian Darby, 3form’s Vice President of Design and Marketing. “That’s part of our commitment to the Full Circle program. We continue to work with the same groups because we recognize that we become a piece of their community and economy.”
The newest addition to 3form’s Full Circle collection was launched with a home textile company based in Magelang, Indonesia. The company specializes in the manufacturing and export of interior products such as wallcovering, sunshades and rugs made from natural fibers. Inspired by the beauty of the local environment, they are committed to the handicraft production of unique designs with high quality materials. The new products were inspired by the long standing connection the Full Circle program builds across the globe.
“You can draw a line from Indonesia to the Himalayas and Nepal to Africa and South America,” said Darby about the program.
String was used throughout the new products as a way to represent the many connections and intersections Full Circle helps build between people and communities. In addition to the materials used, the colors for this product launch were also picked with intention. “One of our goals for Full Circle is to help it evolve into a more universally accepted and modern palette,” said Darby. “And we wanted to pick colors that would represent where these materials come
from.”
What resulted is four new patterns—Gild, Glint, Savu and Nilo—that can be used in a variety of 3form products including Varia Ecoresin. With a refreshed aesthetic, these new Full Circle patterns allow designers to add a unique visual element to any environment while supporting a global community of artisans.
