Today, the Gira E2 design line is an established modern classic, a linear and pared-down design that makes an uncompromisingly clear statement while placing distinctive accents on a wall. Gira now offers the design line in a new, exclusive trend colour: Gira E2 black matt. This adds a new colour variant to the Gira System 55, a variant that integrates smoothly into the system logic and look.
On the one hand, black is dark and sinister – on the other, it's sophisticated, pure, elegant and modern. Architects and interior designers love these juxtapositions and the energy that lives in black colour. Black home accessories underline the state-of-the-art, linear interior design. They combine well with white, grey or bright shades.
Gira E2 in black matt particularly comes into its own both on white and dark walls and is ideal for premium interiors, either at home or in business premises. It is also quite visually distinct from the well-known anthracite version.
The full Gira E2 design line will also be available in a version for flat mounting – in this case, the switch frame is a mere 3 mm thick. A range of this depth, with traditional and flat-mounting variants, allows you to kit out a building with a consistent switch design while still varying quality grades.
Gira E2 is more than just smart looks with its new trend colour black matt – the technology housed in its inserts is impressive, too. Thanks to the Gira System 55, the range includes not only switches and socket outlets but a whole variety of electronic components, including blind control buttons, data and communication connection technology, a multitude of door communication functions and KNX functions and Gira eNet modules such as the wireless wall transmitter. In total, more than 300 state-of-the-art building technology features offer improved living comfort, greater security and better economy.
The Gira Design Configurator quickly and easily provides a realistic idea of what the Gira E2 design line would look like in a real environment and how it would match your individual interior design style. The Gira Design Configurator's 'live view' mode uses a smartphone or tablet camera. The many Gira E2 design options – and, of course, those of the other Gira design lines – can then be combined with selected functions.
