Studio Roeper's coffee table design, HOLLYWOOD, captures the austerity of modern design without sacrificing evidence of the craftsman's hand.
"One of my goals with this design was to emphasize that the wood is all cut from the same tree. The sequence of 5 planks of wood is contrasted by the metalelement which stands out like a jewel," says Florian Roeper, founder of the company. "With delicate proportions and distinct angles, I was going for asubdued and elegant character.
"The table top, which floats over the base, consists of 5 equally wide wooden planks in the Snowy Elm finish. The 6th element is made of brushed bronze. The tips of the legs are capped with brushed bronze wraparounds. HOLLYWOOD is available in any of Studio Roeper’s finish combinations, including CaliforniaWalnut, Smoked Walnut and brushed zinc. HOLLYWOOD is also available as adining table.
