Lang is the new post top luminaire designed by Danish firm ÅF Lighting reflecting the Scandinavian design principles of simplicity, balance and quality – with a twist: the potential to be highly customised.

The new luminaire is equipped with two separate optics and drivers giving designers absolute freedom in terms of geometries and dimming whilst neutralising the possible shades generated by brackets. Between the two optics stands what has been called ‘the blade’, a powerful tool able to change the appearance of the luminaire and tell stories through shades. The blade lends itself to endless possibilities ranging from component materials to intricate designs. From patterns to city crests, its potential awaits to be discovered and fully appreciated.
