Linax is a pressure-impregnated pine cladding developed by Bitus and treated through a process in which the timber is boiled in linseed oil to achieve long-lasting durability. The treatment allows the boards to be used without surface painting, reducing maintenance requirements over the product’s life.
Linax is manufactured from pine sourced from certified forests and is supported by an Environmental Product Declaration (EPD), providing transparent life-cycle data. The linseed-oil treatment increases resistance to moisture and weathering, contributing to an extended service life. As a result, Linax offers a durable, low-maintenance timber cladding option with traceable sourcing and verified environmental information.
