My work is recognizable by the unusual combination of materials I experiment with different materials to create a new material which brings a sense of wonder. The LOEV series consists of lamps and vases and is made out of a combination of cork and rubber, it looks very hard and cold but actually is very flexible. Loev is inspired by my surroundings; I live int the fortress of the historic Loevestein Castle. All of the lamps are unique and different, because they’re handmade in my own studio.
