Specialists in unique river-reclaimed wide plank flooring.
Every step on a Logs End floor is a step in a journey that began centuries ago. Logs End is Canada’s leading supplier of river-reclaimed, wide plank flooring – crafted from logs felled generations ago and perfectly preserved underwater into custom floors and millwork of unparalleled quality and beauty.
It’s estimated that over 14 billion logs floated down the Ottawa River over the course of the log drive era. Between 2-5% of the logs were lost each year to the bottom of the river and its tributaries. In 1997, Logs End entered the picture. With the use of historical logging maps and precise underwater sonar equipment, Logs End began locating large collections of lost timbers.
Choose from a palette of river-recovered pine and hardwoods and discover their strength, durability and consistency, because this wood is 25% more dense than wood harvested from today’s new growth forests.
