Its design is based on experiments in deconstructing the image of a tree: stripped of its outer shell, it retains its original silhouette and the fitting name Ramus, from the Latin for “branch.” It radiates a sincere faith in the future and the enduring power of life. We have eternalised the warmth and brightness of wood by replacing it with a durable analogue – a steel tube. The one-piece welded frame prevents any loosening of the structure, while its solid weight allows it to withstand lateral loads. At the top, the rods are joined by a cross-shaped plate, which also serves as a resting place for cane umbrellas. A touch of poetry comes from the noble materials used on the tips of the branches.
