The potential of METER BY METER is almost unlimited with a system customized to the architecture of the room by BELUX and individually cut to order. It can be free-standing, wall-to-wall, mounted in corners or door frames. The light band has aluminum or transparent coverings to completely merge into a wide variety of settings with its optional combination of direct and indirect lighting.
PLANNING METER BY METER is individually designed and precisely measured by BELUX. The specially developed software calculates exactly the optimum fittings, the length of the basic elements for corner versions and the symmetrical length of the covering. Matching each element to the mounting site simply requires labeling during production for individual components to be reordered using the BELUX database.
MOUNTING The basic form and corner elements are screwed into the wall or ceiling and then adjusted. Inverted metal clips secure the looped-in light switch elements. The covers are simply snapped on to close off the ends of the system. Its modular design and handy packaging enable METER BY METER to be assembled by one person without almost any tools. The system includes all mounting materials and requires no preparation for mounting while its looped-in light switch elements require only one power source.
MATERIAL In addition to the basic material, various colored and satinized coatings provide individual color tones and positioning of luminaires. These can be later added from the front or side. Lettering can be set on the coating (for transparent covers) or lasered (for aluminum covers). Uniform lighting can be created with the overlapping light version and aluminum cover. METER BY METER is distinguished by its high quality and stability while meeting GWT 960°C fire protection requirements. Switch element options are On/Off, 1-10V dimmer and those for building control system using DALI. Socket outlets, movement detectors or emergency lighting can be also integrated into the system.
