The Raku Collection is the pinnacle of Moonjar’s craftsmanship, where the element of fire is transformed into frozen architectural poetry.
Each tile is born in open flame. After the mineral glaze is applied to Balinese lava stone, the pieces undergo extreme firing followed by rapid reduction. This process creates the material’s unique “DNA” - a network of refined micro-cracks (craquelure) and an unpredictable play of metallic reflections that cannot be replicated through industrial production.
The Raku Collection is defined by three key aesthetic directions:
Fire-Born Crazing - a pronounced crackle texture that reflects the philosophy of wabi-sabi and the beauty of perfect imperfection.
Iridescent Luster - shimmering iridescence and tonal shifts created through oxygen reduction in the flame.
Metallic Patina - deep оттенки with an oxidized metal effect, ideal for creating an atmosphere of quiet luxury.
Available sizes: 10 × 10 and 20 × 20 cm. Custom architectural elements and seamless feature panels for accent areas up to 240–260 cm in length are also possible.
