Mykolas Thermo-D is a profiled thermally modified Scots pine board available for exterior and interior cladding and, in selected sections, decking. The timber undergoes Brolis’s Thermo-D treatment at 212–215°C using heat, steam, and water, producing a resin-free material with improved resistance to moisture-related movement and biological degradation. It is classified as durability class 2 and suitable for above-ground exterior use class 3, with an average density of approximately 420 kilograms per cubic metre and equilibrium moisture content of around six percent under specified conditions. The timber can be used without a protective coating, gradually changing from brown to grey through exposure to weather and UV light.
