Reference projects

Parma Cathedral

In December 2020, a new LED lighting system was introduced for the Fabbriceria della Basilica della Cattedrale project at Parma Cathedral, an example of Romanesque architecture. The Cathedral, consecrated in 1106, features a three-nave interior and notable sculptures, including Benedetto Antelami’s Deposition. iGuzzini luminaires provide diffuse lighting that enhances the Cathedral's architecture and artworks. Key lighting elements include Front Light projectors for the Life of Christ fresco cycle and Correggio’s Assumption in the dome, while the Valeri Chapel uses Palco projectors for the frescoed interiors. Additionally, Palco LV projectors in the crypt illuminate the vaults and columns, improving energy efficiency and reducing the visual impact of older lighting.

Hotel Zenit convento San Martín

The New Hotel Zenit Convento de San Martin is located in the heart of San Sebastián, under 100 meters from the Paseo Marítimo and La Concha beach. The hotel offers a range of room types, some retaining original features like frescoes, while others have a minimalist design. Lighting throughout the hotel creates a cozy environment, with recessed Laser Blades and Palco projectors providing intimate illumination. Bedrooms utilize functional lighting from Laser Blades and Underscore luminaires. Conference rooms feature uniform lighting from iPlan Easy luminaires, while patios and steps are accented with Light Up Orbits. Buffet areas are lit with versatile Palco luminaires, terraces with iPro luminaires, and the façade is illuminated by iPro projectors and Linealuce Mini luminaires.

MoMö. The cider museum

Cider, an alcoholic beverage made from fermented apple juice, has a rich history celebrated by the Möhl company in Arbon, which opened a museum showcasing antique equipment and interactive exhibits on cider production. A key feature of the museum is its innovative lighting design, particularly the use of Palco projectors., that were integral to both architectural and exhibition lighting. In the reception area, they enhance the display of apples arranged on a wooden base with focused lighting. Sektor4 modified the projectors to emit light at varying temperatures—2700 K for warmth and 3000 K for architectural needs. This flexibility allowed for a consistent luminaire model throughout the museum, creating focal points and guiding visitor attention while beautifully illuminating the machinery amidst darker surroundings. The integration of the Palco projectors, alongside the overall design, contributes significantly to the museum's award-winning exhibit experience.
