Poutre POSI® is a prefabricated timber–metal structural beam system designed for floor and roof construction in residential and commercial buildings. Combining timber members with galvanised steel V-shaped connectors, its open-web configuration enables longer spans and flexible structural layouts. The system also allows ventilation ducts, pipes, and electrical services to pass through the structure without drilling or cutting the beams. Manufactured to project-specific dimensions, POSI® beams are suitable for new construction, renovation, and roof extensions.
The system supports resource-efficient construction by allowing wider spacing between structural members, potentially reducing material consumption compared with conventional solid timber beams.
