The design of the Printlamp is inspired by the old “Bulls-eye” lamps. Industrial lamps made from cast iron and an iron cage which protected the glass from unidentified flying objects.
The Printlamp is the modern version of this lamp. Instead of iron, the hood is made from bio degradable PLA and the cage is made from wood. Combined with the old school light bulb, stainless steel bolts and black textile cord this creates an intriguing contrast between old and new/industrial and homely.
