Executive chairs

The new RIYA chair is designed for an enjoyable work life. Its organic form, intuitive controls, simplicity and adaptability make it a pleasure to work in. RIYA is designed to work across the modern office landscape: in touch-down spaces and open plan zones for collaborative tasks, as well as in quiet areas for focussed individual work. RIYA is the latest project to emerge from office expert Bene´s ongoing relationship with London based studio PearsonLloyd and their continuous effort to challenge the overtly technical aesthetic that dominates workplace design. The modern office must provide spaces for focus and concentration, as well as for collaborative work and communication. The places in which we work with others are just as important as those in which we work alone. RIYA is designed to be flexible, and work across this landscape. RIYA’s form adapts to the user’s body shape and posture, thanks to its easy -to-use – and easy to find – bright orange controls. This chair can switch effortlessly between different workers in a shared working environment, making it a key component in an open and humane workplace culture. In addition, its dynamic form and inviting aesthetic make the chair a great addition to the modern office. Designer Tom Lloyd: "RIYA is the result of our continuous effort to challenge the overtly technical aesthetic that dominates workplace design. Consciously open and human, RIYA is designed to operate successfully across the workplace, from traditional workstation settings to informal touchdown and collaborative environments.
