The underside of each Sage leaflet is adorned with 232 intricately arranged LED segments, a design that mirrors the delicate web of veins gracing the underside of a real leaf. Sage is imbued with a touch sensor, allowing its light to be adjusted across four increments to suit a spectrum of moods and occasions. Two custom-developed LED types work in harmony to create a remarkable range of illumination—from the warm, flickering glow of a candle to a radiant, vibrant light ideal for reading.
Each of the Sage’s dual leaflets can be rotated, subtly shifting the light’s angle, much like a seedling’s leaves responding to the sun’s arc through the sky. When positioned with its leaflets turned outward toward a wall, Sage casts a soft, diffused glow that transforms the room into a haven of quiet sophistication. Whether standing alone, with its singular elegance, or grouped together to form a luminous sculptural composition, Sage transcends mere lighting to become an artwork of light and form.
