A brief moment of carelessness is all it takes. Already an issue for bathtubs, showers are also subject to non-slip safety features. But those who choose to tile the shower area with non-slip tiles instead of opting for shower trays made of enamelled steel or plastic (e.g. acrylic) are on the safe side thanks to special ceramic surfaces which ensure safe tread even when wet. Individual design variety Functionality need not necessarily mean compromises in terms of design – a fact which is impressively demonstrated by the range of Secura surfaces. In an attempt to provide a comprehensive overview of the ensuing aesthetic possibilities, a new system has been developed which depicts the 92 shades in eight colour ranges and thereby enabling swift orientation. Each colour range offers a selection of mosaic formats – from 1x1 or 2x2 through 5x5 to 10x10 cm or circular mosaics which are currently enjoying an outstanding comeback thanks to the retro trend. The individual mosaic tiles are prefabricated as sheets measuring 31.6 x 31.6 cm. This size goes perfectly with the Jasba-specific modular format enabling areas adjacent to the shower space to be continued in the same conclusive design and even in accurate joint cuts on request. What's more, these prefabricated sheets effectively support exact, efficient and inexpensive laying by qualified tilers.
Comprehensive interior design One Jasba trademark involves conclusive overall concepts for walls and floors. This claim is also fulfilled by the 92 Secura surfaces which are an integral component of the individual tile series with which they correspond in terms of colour and overall appearance. In the Jasba-Atelier series, for example, the refined surface reminiscent of crumpled paper is also available as a Secura variant. Another example is provided by the Homing series where the elegant "used look" was also transferred to the non-slip mosaic tiles enabling stylish overall compositions which cleverly combine both function and aesthetics.
