Smile Plastics panels are large-format decorative sheets manufactured from 100 percent recycled plastic, sourced from a mix of pre- and post-consumer waste streams such as packaging, bottles, and household plastics. These materials are reprocessed and pressed into rigid panels, typically produced in 3000 × 1200 millimetre formats and available in a range of thicknesses for use in joinery, furniture, wall linings, and interior fittings.

Each panel is formed through a controlled process that results in a consistent material with a distinct surface pattern, reflecting the composition of the recycled feedstock. The material is dense, waterproof, and suitable for a range of interior applications, with moderate scratch resistance and the ability to be cut, machined, and heat-formed using standard fabrication techniques.

From a sustainability perspective, the panels are both 100 percent recycled and 100 percent recyclable, contributing to a circular material cycle. The manufacturing process diverts plastic waste from landfill and incineration, with off-cuts and end-of-life panels able to be reprocessed into new sheets.

The product is supported by independently verified Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs), alongside ISO 14001 and ISO 9001 certifications at the manufacturing level. It also meets Indoor Air Comfort GOLD standards for low VOC emissions. The material is chemically inert, supporting indoor air quality in interior environments. Its durability, ease of maintenance, and resistance to moisture contribute to a long service life.
