The concept of the piece was based on the statement of the ancient Greek philosopher Epictetus, "If you want to live without knowing sorrow, consider the future as gone". The base created of the object in two stages: first, the form was made on a machine, and then polished by hand by the master, which allowed to achieve ideal proportions and plasticity. The final coating of the base is made of hardwearing environmentally friendly enamel paint. The upper part of the product is made of durable sheet steel with polymer coating, which has high protective properties. Despite its rounded shape, the table is extremely stable, making it safe for small children and pets. STOIK is available in super matte and glossy finish and can be created in 30 color options.
