On Salone del Mobile 2026, Unopiù presents SYMI and SYROS, two new coffee tables designed by Gian Paolo Venier, conceived as “passepartout” elements that can seamlessly integrate into the Unopiù catalogue, introducing a fresh and cross-cutting design language.
Rather than forming a closed family, SYMI and SYROS are designed as autonomous and versatile pieces, capable of blending with the company’s various collections and complementing existing compositions with a measured dissonance, an unexpected detail that brings energy and new possibilities of use. This approach reflects a contemporary vision of living, increasingly fluid between indoor and outdoor spaces.
SYMI is a collection of coffee tables, available in two sizes, characterized by a teak structure paired with a material-finish top offered in Stone and Dove tones. Elegant and natural, SYMI coffee tables are designed to enhance any outdoor setting with a touch of warmth and understated sophistication, interpreting the Unopiù identity in a refined and discreet way.
Alongside the coffee tables, SYROS is an auxiliary table in painted iron, available in Graphite and Terracotta finishes. Lightweight, durable, and easy to move, it is designed to follow the rhythms of the day and the needs of outdoor living—from the terrace to the garden, from the veranda to poolside areas. Venier describes it as a small “valet stand,” a personal table that can naturally move closer to the user during an aperitif or an evening gathering, expressing a gesture of care and attention.
SYMI and SYROS are part of a collective project conceived by Unopiù and developed together with a Designers’ Collective as a shared “Travel Diary.” Each collection brings a personal perspective within a unified vision: to narrate and enhance the heritage of Unopiù, a leading Italian brand in outdoor furniture.
