On the Salone del Mobile 2026, Unopiù presents EGADI, a pair of outdoor side tables/stools designed by Andrea Steidl, conceived as a small system of complementary volumes where function and sculptural presence meet in an essential and distinctive way.
Made of fiberstone with a glossy glazed finish, the EGADI side tables/stools consist of two shapes that complement each other, creating a graphic line that marks the meeting point between the two geometries. This detail becomes the defining feature of the collection, enhancing its plasticity.
The aesthetic of EGADI recalls elements typical of maritime landscapes and life on piers, such as bollards and cleats, functional objects belonging to an ancient and tangible seafaring imagery. This reference is translated into compact, material objects capable of evoking the strength and simplicity of forms designed to endure and last over time.
Designed to accompany everyday outdoor living, the EGADI side tables/stools are created for flexible use: a simple support surface, a quick seat, a “tool” that facilitates moments of social interaction. Thanks to their lightness and ease of movement, they can be used individually, in pairs, or in groups, naturally fitting into terraces, gardens, poolside areas, and lounge spaces, creating ever-changing visual and functional compositions.
Available in two sizes and in the refined shades of Chocolate, Dove, Stone, and Terracotta, EGADI brings into the Unopiù universe a piece with a contemporary and understated character, capable of enhancing spaces with a sculptural accent and a quiet elegance.
EGADI is part of a collective project, conceived by Unopiù and developed together with a Designers’ Collective, as a shared “Travel Diary.” Each collection expresses an individual perspective within a unified vision: to narrate and enhance the heritage of Unopiù, a leading Italian brand in outdoor furniture.
