Terrasale combines geological inputs with very different origins. The compact power of volcanic basalt merges with the pale, radiant fragments of limestone deposited on seabeds. The background surface is characterised by small crystalline inclusions that enhance the visual richness of the graphic design, while its texture is delicately uneven and tactile. Great compositional scope is provided by the small square size (20x20 cm) in an impressively wide range of coloured pigments, together with two exquisite matching decors, Astro and Lacca.
