Umamica is an uncomfortable-comfortable chair designed especially for Umami fast food restaurant in Zagreb. It comes in three colors and sizes, depending on its purpose, that is, the position inside the restaurant and time needed to be spent in a specific zone. The back of the chair and its seat have been adjusted to a fast food restaurant where a small amount of time spent in it needs to be as comfortable as possible.
Umamica has been designed in the spirit of the restaurant’s concept – creative laboratory. Research, curiosity and playfullness are the main characteristics that we aspired to achieve while designing the space and its basic elements. Consistency in linking the chair with the space is manifested through colorfull piping as the construction base and a highlighted interior design element.
