Ventilated facade system by CEMBRIT is a part of SWISSPEARL Group. The intelligent layer structure of the rear-ventilated facade (RVF) provides a specialized component for each function of the outer wall. No other facade system on the market can meet the heat, moisture, fire, and noise protection requirements as effectively as Swisspearl's system. The facade system complies with all standards for environmentally friendly, ecological, and sustainable designs.
Efficiency
The rear-ventilated facade system stands out due to its structural separation between insulation and weather protection. It prevents exterior humidity from reaching the brickwork and insulation, while allowing the rear-ventilated space to optimally dry any interior humidity. This boosts energy efficiency and ensures a pleasant and healthy indoor climate year-round.
Moreover, the facade system is noted for its ecological benefits. It is sustainable because the individual components of the facade can be separated for recycling. Swisspearl's fibre cement is a natural building material that offers several advantages over metals like aluminum.
Durability
The facade system not only provides highly efficient thermal insulation and weather protection but also offers excellent fire protection and sound-absorbing qualities. These features ensure long-term comfort and consistent operational reliability. The facade system is resilient to damage, which prevents costly repairs in the future. The facades promise long-lasting protection, comfort, and cost-effectiveness, delivering a durable and secure building envelope for decades.
Maintenance-free and removable
Facades are subject to extreme temperature fluctuations, but the Swisspearl facade system allows for unrestricted cladding expansion, eliminating the risk of expensive repairs from plaster cracks or frost damage. The Swisspearl panels are exceptionally durable, effectively protecting the facade from weather and external influences.
The intelligently designed stacking of the facade system enables the removal and recycling of individual components as needed.
Structure
Swisspearl facades are based on the structurally superior design known as the rear-ventilated facade system. This system consists of four main components:
1 Supporting structure
Supporting construction of the building to absorb all loads
2 Substructure
Transfers the loads from the siding to the structure
3 Thermal insulation
Layer between the substrate and the ventilation space to improve the thermal and/or acoustic insulation capacity
4 Rear ventilation
Space through which outside air flows, adjoining the cladding on the back
5 Swisspearl fibre cement panels
Outer, visible layer of the outer wall with a protective and design function
Energy-efficient and ecological
What makes the rear-ventilated facade system unique is the structural separation from the insulation and weather protection. Exterior humidity is prevented from reaching the brickwork and insulation, and the rear-ventilated space ensures optimal drying of any humidity from the interior. This improves energy efficiency and ensures a pleasant and healthy indoor climate all year round.
