The high quality, chromed brass WuduMate Pillar Tap 180 (square) is designed for use with the WuduMate Classic and/or the Compact, with a pre-mixed water supply and TMV (Thermostatic Mixing Valve). This tap is operated by an easy to use and comfortable quarter-turn control mechanism at the end of the spout. When the WuduMate Pillar Tap is installed with the Compact or Classic the spout is in the most comfortable position for wudu, the Muslim pre-prayer washing ritual, and at the right angle to minimise splashing. This means that the floor remains dry and therefore safe, and that grey water is not splashed back onto the person performing wudu, something which would invalidate the wudu ritual.
Suitable settings include the multi-faith rooms in commercial, civic or educational buildings and mosques.
This tap has both Australian WaterMark certification, and CSA certification, (issued by the Canadian Standards Association). CSA certification is a North American quality standard recognised worldwide, providing the purchaser with peace of mind about manufacturers' labour practices as well as product safety, quality and longevity.
The 3.7 litres per minute, pressure equalising Neoperl aerator with WRAS approved cartridge, saves water and reduces splashing.
