Derix X-LAM panels are precision-engineered cross-laminated timber (CLT) elements made from at least three layers of kiln-dried spruce (C24) boards. These layers are cross-laminated and glued using low-emission GripPro-Plus melamine resin. Each panel is manufactured under strict quality control, with moisture content maintained at 10 ± 2 percent to ensure dimensional stability and prevent cracking. Panels can be customized in size, reaching lengths of up to approximately 17.8 meters, widths of 3.5 meters, and thicknesses of 400 mm, enabling sensitive prefabrication and rapid on-site assembly.

    Benefits
    - High Structural Performance: Capable of carrying loads in both directions, making them ideal for seismic and wide-span applications.
    - Thermo-Acoustic Comfort: Natural wood enhances indoor climate and thermal insulation.
    - Prefabricated Precision: CNC machining allows for the integration of window and door openings as well as service routes.
    - Fire Performance: The inherent charring effect of the material provides excellent fire resistance, lasting 30 to 90 minutes.

    Sustainability
    - Made from PEFC-certified European spruce, which is fully renewable and carbon-storing.
    - Utilizes bio-based Loctite HB S Eco PURbond, which contains 63% bio-content and is certified Cradle-to-Cradle Gold in Material Health.
    - Facilitates reassembly, disassembly, and reuse in alignment with circular economy principles.
