The YOW 225 H Impact Resistant Operable Window has been designed and engineered to the highest standards to provide a hurricane impact resistant window that is worry free. These windows have successfully passed the impact and cycle requirements of ASTM E-1886, ASTM E-1996, and the test requirements for the Florida High Velocity Hurricane Zone (TAS 201, TAS 202 & TAS 203). In addition, they are glazed with laminated monolithic glass, and their vents are flush with the frame to elimenate an unsightly overlap.
The YOW 225 H is available as a Casement Out, Project Out or Fixed window. These windows accept 9/6" glazing. They also feature factory glazing, screens, stacking mullions, standard heavy-duty hardware, and they have been blast mitigation tested.
