Three programmes (student housing, investment properties and home ownership units), and a single building imposing peacefulness and structuring the district: these were the challenges facing this project. The project generates contacts with the 104 cultural centre through a large porch that continues through to the Orgues de Flandres housing complex. Each street is lined by two buildings that are organised around an open garden to the rear of the tower block side. The building adopts a compact language underlined by strong horizontal lines that also provide generously sized balconies. Around the garden, the façade is designed as a fold giving distant views over Paris.
