In this industrial block, simplicity reigns supreme. Each element is carefully curated for its functionality and aesthetic appeal, adhering to the mantra of uncluttered elegance. Amidst the palette of concrete and red Agra, bursts of color emerge like vibrant urban pops injecting life and energy into space. Color blocking throughout draws the eye and ignites a dialogue between the stark industrial backdrop and the warmth of natural hues. Our design ethos embraces the raw and the refined in equal measure.
The division of spaces is done to integrate various zones, including formal and informal living. This living area seamlessly transitions into the dining space, conveniently located near the kitchen. An island counter serves as a practical serving station for the dining area. The communal areas of the residence evenly split the house into two sections: one half with the master bedroom and the daughter's room, while the other accommodates the parents' and guest bedrooms, along with a dedicated room for a mandir and storage. Each decision is driven by thoughtful reasoning to enhance functionality and organization within the home.
Copper being the finale element of the house, the name ‘501 Cu Block’ comes to picture. Red Agra dominating the majority of this home, brings a certain rawness to the aura. Explaining the block factor, the house embodies a variety of color blocks though the wall, ceiling and floor throughout the house.
Master bedroom - Industrial chic: Raw and unapologetic, this space marries the robustness of exposed concrete with the elegance of teak wood. The flooring, a canvas of rough black basalt, sets a foundation of strength, while clean lines carve out a sense of order amidst the rawness. Parents bedroom - The flooring boasts bold yellow tandur. Teak wood with black accents dominates the furniture. Guest bedroom - The flooring, hewn from black basalt, anchors the space with its stark presence, while teak wood accents provide warmth amidst the cool austerity. Daughters' bedroom - As you step onto the black basalt flooring, you're greeted by an ambiance of unyielding strength. The contrasts are striking; red and black hues punctuate the space, creating a visual symphony against the warmth of teak wood.
