From passageway to destination, MdeAS dewsign studio transformed Olympic Tower’s public space with a new, modern design. In creating a lighter, more welcoming environment design includes disposing of the heavy awning in favor of an all-glass facade that is both sleek and inviting, which is inspired by the client’s goal for increased visibility and openness.
Basaltite® stone has been selected and installed for the main lobby flooring in combination with marble’s thin strips.

Brand description
Basaltite® is a medium-grey stone with some crystals of leucite immersed in a microcystalline structure, derived from the hardening of lava in the eruption centre of Bolsena - Bagnoregio. The noble grey colour of Basaltite® matches perfectly with all materials, modernor antique, loke steal, wood, glass and aluminium, emphasizing their beauty and use.
