It's designed for renovation and extension of the building of the early 1960s, in St-Petersburg, Russia, in the Perogradsky island, one of central parts of St-Petersburg. It's nearby the TV tower.

The old hotel building is 5-floors, it has small and uncomfortable restaurant, long and narrow, and small lobby. My client wanted to make the public places bigger, to include transformed conference hall, new lift, small parking and put two extra floors with 35 rooms each. Very important aim was to get the new look for this building, to make it attractive and memorizable.

This project has been accepted and endorsed by the local authorities. The sad part of the story. The explorations of the foundation and walls of the building, geological surveys regarding the construction has been made, after that it became clear that the price of the construction goes beyond my client expectations.
