Inovando Arquitetura signs contemporary apartment in Moema, São Paulo, Brazil

Space is a tribute to the sophisticated style of Gossip Girl
Contemporary architecture meets the glamor and fashion of the Gossip Girl series in this apartment project in Moema, São Paulo, designed by the architect duo Ingrid Ovando Zarza and Fernanda Bradaschia, from the office Inovando Arquitetura, inspired by the iconic painting in Serena's apartment, Prada Marfa.

The client, a true fan of Gossip Girl, wanted to live in a space that reflected the style and luxury of the series. And for this, the color palette played a fundamental role. With shades of pink, gray, black and dark green, we create a sophisticated and versatile environment. The apartment's entrance wall stood out in pink, while pink furniture and decor elements were strategically incorporated, keeping the rest of the decor in neutral shades of gray.

One of the client's main goals was to have a large space to receive friends, while at the same time needing a lot of storage space for clothes, shoes, bags and other items. The office's solution was to create spacious areas, but at the same time sectorized. They demolished the wall that separated the living room from the bedroom, integrating these spaces and allowing the installation of a closet that would serve as a divider. This met the need for more storage space and created a bar in the living room, perfect for the client who loves entertaining friends.

Furthermore, the new layout allowed the creation of an independent entrance to the bathroom, guaranteeing privacy for visitors. They also highlighted the dressing table built into the headboard of the bed, a functional and practical solution to optimize space in the bedroom.

Materials played a crucial role in the project. Bomtempo's lacquer joinery in cobalt and platinum gray brought elegance to the furniture. The Nômade chairs by designer Fernando Jaeger, in Blush, added a touch of charm. The Tok Stok sofa and armchair, along with the Cremme stool, complemented the space. The pink color of the wall, Suvinil's "Petit-Suisse", brought life to the decor, while the burnt cement wall in the bedroom added texture and modernity.

In short, this project can be described as contemporary, incorporating elegant and functional design elements while paying homage to the sophisticated style of Gossip Girl. The apartment in Moema now perfectly reflects the client's dream and lifestyle.
