This apartment, which surface is 240 squared meters, is located within a 1958 apartment building in downtown Catania.

Commissioned by a young couple requesting the architect to operate on distribution of the rooms and a total renovation.

The project fulfills the request resolving the distribution of the space both on map and section through subtraction of pre-existing parts and by adding custom made furnitures.

The original spirit of the building’s construction era is present in several phases of definition of the executive project. The dualism in between contemporaneity and memories is shaped by the deep updating of spaces and the final design of details of the custom made internal and external frames and fixtures.
