The renovation project concerned a large apartment in a condominium located in Ardeatino, a residential neighbourhood in the southern quadrant of Rome.

The design aimed at creating a harmonious and functional environment, combining modern and classical elements to meet the owners' needs for style and comfort.

As a result, the living room-entrance has been completely redesigned to create an open, bright, welcoming and contemporary environment. To increase brightness, the walls were painted in light shades, in tone with the large-format stoneware flooring, which is also pale in colour; the natural and artificial lighting characterized by the luminous groove that marks the perimeter of the ceiling, contributes to making the living area a sober and tidy environment which finds its vanishing point in the modern gas fireplace integrated into the back wall, an evocative element of aggregation around which to gather.

The kitchen, widely communicating with the living room-entrance, is in a modern style with surfaces enriched by elegant details; the central peninsula acts as a work surface and separates it from the dining area.

The attention to detail is underlined by the refined use of colour, by the use of elegant wallpaper at the entrance and by the plaster frames with a rectangular design that characterize the walls and the spacious wardrobe in the corridor;this leads to three large bedrooms, including the double bedroom with walk-in wardrobe, a fourth guest bedroom, two bathrooms and a small laundry room.
