ARAD as Architects

This structure has built in 8 residential apartments with 310 sq. meters area that are placed in two different zones and a single spatial floor in between at sixth level, five stories in the bottom and three on the top of sixth floor, the lower part made of a white carved travertine stone and these apartments are for sale or rent, the upper part is made of dark grey thermo ash wood which designed for the client’s family to live.

Sixth floor has designed for guests, including party room; guest room and a 50 sq. meter terrace looking south witch emphasize the variance between two objects on the top and the bottom.Ground floor is the entrance lobby that is compound with a multi-purpose hall and a home theater in full facilities in side which is ready for family ceremonies.Car parks are located in the basement -1 for 18 park positions and there’s an electrical room for emergency diesel generator and electrical devises added to four storages in this floor. Pool, Jacuzzi, gym, main mechanical room and some storage located in basement -2  On the top there’s a roof garden with full facilities for leisure and parties.

Besides the end users of the apartments specified their positions in their own floors hence this idea has form that the exterior shape of the building can follow it’s inside alteration. In the first step the concept for the sculpture of building was object disjunction upon its internal alteration, thus the project body cut into three cubic objects. 1- Circulation areas which is located in the eastern part (gray cubes). 2- Residential apartments for specific end-users on the top levels (dark cube). 3- Apartments for sale or rent in the lower part (white cube).

These three simple objects attached to each other with a transparent circulation area next to stair case box, in the sixth floor and in the ground floor. In the next step for more special quality and inventing a new character for the levels underground, a 3 meter wide gap designed in these floors in the south and west sides that exhilarateunderground floors with sunlight and an vertical greenery (in 40 meters long and 12 meters high), and it made this underground object as a base or podium for the upper parts design. On the bottom line the main design idea in this project has planned in clarifying the project requirements description and large scale strategic decisions to recapturethe architectural quality and shaping them to an objective sculpture, and in this process we tried to cut any irrelevant additional ornaments to achieve the purity of architecture that based on the main large idea.
