This film is the first in an ongoing series on Architecture.
The Shimon Peres Centre for Peace sits in a seaside neightbourhoud of ancient Jaffa. It is home to Arab, Jewish & Foreign workers, who work together to forge peace in the region.
It also functions as a library & event space; hosting exhibitons & conferences such as TED, in its state of the art auditorium.
The building comprises alternate layers of concrete and translucent glass. Glass filters the light inside during the day, and sends it back out at night.
