Inglobe Technologies, in collaboration with SoWhat Studio and Mecanismo, helped award winning industrial designer Roberto Pezzetta and italian furniture manufacturer GeD Cucine to present their new Argento Vivo kitchen at the "Salone del Mobile" held in Milan from 14 to 19 April, 2010.

In 2009 the kitchen Argento Vivo was awarded the Good Design Award, the prestigious award given by the Museum of Architecture and Design of the University of Chicago.

Based on this and leveraging on cutting hedge AR technology ARmedia, Inglobe Technologies set up an Augmented Reality solution whose main achievement was to make possible the impossible. As the space limitations at the booth did not allow the exhibition of every variant of the kitchen, the AR solution gave visitors the chance to visualize different color and shape variants using an intuitive Augmented Reality interface that put people in front of a 5 meters large AR mirror with a 3D kitchen in their hands.

High definition, excellent tracking and ease of interaction were some of the best features of the solution, related to a project that has been created almost at the speed of light.

An AR exhibit with the same interactive application has been hosted at GD Cucine Store in New York on Sunday, 16 May 2010.
