The library of Miramare Castle in Trieste reveals for the first time its treasure trove of books dedicated to botany, flowers, plants, and gardens that reveal the interests and knowledge of Archduke Ferdinand Maximilian of Habsburg and Charlotte of Belgium. The collection is reflected in the garden surrounding the Castle and is itself a garden on paper. A refined exhibition route with a strong visual impact guides you to paths of dream and beauty conceived in the mid-nineteenth century.
