Located in the heart of central Athens, this apartment renovation by Eftekton Architects redefines contemporary urban living while preserving the property’s original decorative architectural elements.
The interior design concept balances modern minimal aesthetics with restored historical details, creating a refined yet character-rich residential space. A central architectural feature of the project is the installation of custom folding door panels between the living–dining area and the adjoining rooms.
This flexible design solution allows the apartment layout to transform according to daily needs, offering both open-plan continuity and spatial privacy. The result is a dynamic, adaptable interior that reflects modern lifestyle demands in Athens’ vibrant city center.
Through careful material selection, clean geometric lines, and respect for the existing architectural identity, the project highlights Eftekton Architects’ approach to contemporary apartment renovation in Athens.
