The structure of this office building constructed over 30 years ago continued to be solid, although its façades had deteriorated in both architectural and technical terms. Our project consisted of endowing the building with new, transparent façades that would contribute to its modernisation. The office block comprises two basements, a ground floor, a mezzanine and 8 storeys above, thereby constituting an imposing volume set back from the street alignment with façades that establish a horizontal rhythm in which solid breastwork alternates with strips of metal-framed glass. The new project endows the building with an air of modernity, tempered by the double glass façade that creates transparency and depth while toning down the rhythm of the horizontal strips.
