Ayka Apartment Building designed by Nilufer Agacci Architects

Ayka Apartment building is located in the Silivri district in Istanbul. The building was designed for residential and commercial usage. 

Due to the fact that the parcel depth of the building, which was designed as adjacent, is 33 m and it faces both streets; The building block is divided into two on an axis parallel to the streets. With the division of the block into two, the existing backyard traces of the neighboring parcels are continued, and the light and air corridor that the building needs has been obtained.

In the center of the corridor is the core, articulated to both blocks. The continuity of the backyard in the existing texture progresses to the inside of the blocks and reaches the core connection. Through the spaces used as the interior garden, the rooms of all floors facing the interior receive light and air.
