Brcode is an administrative complex, situated at the heart of Kish, a modern developing island in the south of Iran.
Regarding the hot and humid climate of Kish island, measures must be taken to subside its extreme features. To encounter the harsh climate, we modernized the native architectural methods. To control the natural light penetration and to filter the ventilation, the domestic people used to employ double layered technique.
The gap between two layers allows the users to benefit from a much milder climate inside the building. Also the second layer which creates delicate highlight and shadow introduces lively vista and frames.
Drawing a greenery ribbon running around the building not only brings the users a pleasant atmosphere but also provides a delightful balcony for each unit to hangout in. We aimed to create a dynamic facade which draws attention from the adjacent highway when driving by.
