This 1,300m² project is signed by interior designers Linda Martins and Linda Cris Martins, from the Maraú Design office. It was developed for a young couple, waiting for their second child. He soccer player, Everton Ribeiro, and his wife influence Marília Nery. The professionals had already participated in the creation of the first child's room, in another location, but now the couple was moving to a bigger and more spacious house, and wanted the project to look like theirs. A young, contemporary project that had an artsy footprint, with works of art and hints of cheerful colors that talked among themselves.
The influential client, super attached to fashion, asked her to be "bold", to the extent. No major structural changes either, since the second baby was almost here. The first choice of the client who served as a guide for the project was a photograph of the artist Flavia Junqueira, whose backdrop was the Municipal Theater in the city of Rio de Janeiro (so loved by the couple). The beautiful colors that Flavia uses in her work were the basis for the project.
The second piece chosen was Gaetano Pesce's Red Armchair Up, which also has a connotation of work of art, which led to the idea of a large gallery with a neutral, white base, and many brushstrokes of colors that created a youthful atmosphere, cheerful and welcoming. There was no breaking of walls, because the idea in this project was to take advantage of the base that already had, including the large room, and optimize time. The designers designed some furniture in joinery, to take advantage of space and chose neutral furniture, but that created movement, tables at various heights, fluid pieces and light tones.
This project stands out for its details, in Ronald Sasson's Soto armchairs, in golden metal, which are confused with a work of art. The most colorful corner of the house received a round swivel chaise and a cheerful multicolored Missoni rug. The large linen sofas and the off white rug, serve as a frame for the many colors they used in the details.
At the top of the stairs to the second floor, there is a gallery of watercolors produced by little Augusto, the couple's first child. The Italian dining table is overlaid by the pendants signed by Luciana Martins Rosa and in the background the blue canvas, "O Céu de Ariadne", by the artist Emerson Bicudo.
The living room received adornments, books and canvas brought from the couple's travels. And the outdoor area has exclusive pieces from Studio Linda Martins for Pátio Brasil.
