The Context
For the third and final project together, after transforming the first and second floors, BECI invited us to transform their dated ground floor into a multifunctional space for their members.

The space's main purpose would be various community and member events, meetings, and gatherings.

We needed to create an inviting environment that aligned with the biophilic design of the other floors while maintaining its unique charm.

Working around the existing offices, incorporating a large column in the middle of the entrance area into our design, and producing a seamless, custom gradient wallpaper for a 25-meter-long wall were among our most significant challenges.

The Outcome
The key Oasis elements - mountains, vegetation, and water - inspire the design of different areas and invite you on an adventure.

The cozy entrance in grounding earthy colors recalls mountains and resembles a lively café. Its custom coffee bar with red terracotta tiles serves as a gathering point.

The metaphor of mountains represents being grounded and seen. Lush greenery with a plant ceiling feature and a curved bench beside the green kitchen cube brings the outdoors inside and gives relief from the hectic Brussels life. It’s the heart of the Oasis.

The meeting rooms, representing serene water, offer both flexibility and tranquility. Their modular furniture serves different purposes and numbers of people, providing the right setup for hybrid work and various events.

The result is a welcoming, vibrant, green space in the middle of Brussels that encourages connection and collaboration.
