Team Milky Way designed the Boomdroom mural specifically for the 200-square feet Euromax factory wall to demonstrate the unlimited possibilities of the new facade technology Aludesign.

In Boomdroom Team Milky Way plays with different scales of the illustration to allow infinite interpretations of the wall depending on the distance one is perceiving it.

The big scale consists of two photo-realistic magnolia trees with blooming flowers. One of the first tree species to flower in the spring in the Netherlands, Magnolia trees celebrate positive energy and time of change.

From a distance, one is able to perceive the branches and flowers that compose a realistic tree with a gradient yellow and orange background. Once one gets closer a more detailed image starts to emerge opening the door to small scale illogical worlds. The branches of the Magnolia become black silhouettes that stimulate ideas of creative thinkers. It challenges them to contribute their own stories.

From a brand standpoint, the small scale illustrations demonstrate the level of detail that Aludesign printing can achieve. Color gradients are also used intensively throughout the mural both in photo-realistic images and illustrations to show the potential of color use with Aludesign.
