Vibrant Changes
The first step in any good project is identifying client demands and devising ways to meet them. In this regard, the firm decided to astonish with a completely radical change in the living room. When it comes to colors, they enter this project as focal points subtly dividing the spaces: blue is for the kitchen, yellow for the tiles, and wood defines the dining area, while gray represents the living room and office. Walls were repositioned, allocating lateral space for the living room, featuring a counter that seamlessly integrates the spaces, perfect for entertaining friends. The former kitchen area now houses the dining room, offering a beautiful view of the treetops. Red was emphasized to draw attention to the exposed plumbing details. For this detail, next to the kitchen, the pipe belonged to the apartments' grease trap, which was covered with insulation to isolate noise and a metal plate for a finishing touch, ensuring future maintenance accessibility. The lavatory received a complete makeover, exuding personality in every detail. The aqua-green-toned cladding with decorative art and a Provencal-style sink incorporate many references from the clients' world travels and experiences.
Minimalist Intimate Area
In the couple's private area, the former bathroom and service area were repurposed to create a superb closet, relocating the master suite's bathroom. In this space, the proposal shifts away from vibrant colors towards minimalism. The entire intimate space predominantly features a neutral aesthetic language, with gray walls, flooring, ceiling, brushed granite, and black accents in fixtures or lighting details.
All meticulously planned to provide comfort to the couple and align with their identity imprinted throughout the rest of the home.
