Concept and implementation for an innovative working environment for operating a
cross-departmental Innovation Factory for the internal and external transport of BRZ innovation power.
The concept for the future platform for innovations at the Federal Computing Center is based on a spatial interpretation of Austrian topography. The resulting shared working environment becomes an image carrier and supports the identification of all partners from the federal states with the Factory. A river flowing through the space structures and supplies the Innovation Factory with the necessary infrastructure. This enables differentiated work areas and defines the necessary connections between the individual areas that are required for the development process.

An abstract river course, translated into a multifunctional spatial structure, carries the necessary supplies (reception, seating, storage space). The open-plan office can be divided into smaller zones using vertical partitioning elements, allowing for visual and acoustic separation. The flexible and mobile furnishings can be adapted to the respective requirements.
